If you’re looking for structured cocktail gowns and ‘not the usual’ lehengas – designer Gaurav Gupta is of course your go-to name!
On display were his statement layered drapes, structured silhouettes, ruffles and feminine cascades that’ll steal your heart away!

These Gaurav Gupta gowns ooze style and are just perfect for a destination wedding, we think!
Fairytale Romance at Shyamal & Bhumika!
We loved how Shyamal & Bhumika’s collection celebrates their princess muse and uses soft feminine colors and dreamy silhouettes with layers of fine silks, diaphanous tulle and organza to dress you up flamboyantly!
See how vibrant hues, traditional embroidery and a generous sparkling of crystals and embellishments go into creating their perfectly fairytale outfits.
Glittering Away in JADE by Monica & Karishma!
The Autumn Winter 2o18 Bridal collection by JADE by Monica & Karishma, was full of glamour and shine!
The collection finds its muse in Radha and her divine feminity and we think its just the right dose of glitter and shine with intricate sequins and zardosi work that every bride needs for her wedding trousseau!
You’ll love how their outfits shine with glamour and glitz even while being centered around basic color tones and pastel hues.
Intricate Thread Works with Rahul Mishra!
Wedding fashion at Rahul Mishra is all about intricate threadwork and his choice of colors – from soft pastels to regal reds to classic ivory.
Outfits in chanderi, organza, silks with chikankari embroidery, his signature 3D applique and resham threadwork are trends to watch out for in his collection.
We simply louuuuve the detailing on his outfits!
Falguni & Shane Peacock
“This wedding season will see a lot of muted tones like soft pink, rose gold, lavender, champagne, powder blue, mint green, peach – as these colours are fresh and will look ethereal for a summer wedding!” say designer duo Falguni & Shane Peacock.
We love their take on glamour, shimmer and shine in wedding fashion. For your Sangeet they recommend – “Heavy lehengas in statement-making colours like gold, silver, metallic… As the function is all about dance and music, the ensemble should have lots of glitter and shine to give it a glamorous effect on stage!”
And if you’re packing for a destination wedding, here’s what they suggest – “Pack smart for all occasions of the destination wedding, keeping the destination in mind. Every function should have a distinct look which should be styled differently.”
Jewelry Trends with Farah Khan!
The Farah Khan line of fine jewelry at the Vogue Wedding Show was an opulent mix of exotic, glamorous haute couture bejewelled pieces and striking pret collections with an edge.
“This season our Bridal jewelry collection takes inspiration from a glorious bygone era of Indian Royalty, it’s myriad colors and richness of forms and textures to create and craft ornate bridal masterpieces that is the Farah Khan signature look.”
From regal pearls and stone encrusted necklaces to statement malas featuring the most exotic designs – it was wow worthy! Along with jewelry, this is the first time the brand unveiled a lifestyle collection that focused more on luxurious products in the wedding and gifting line.
From scented soy wax candles to fine bone china crockery, to scarves, accessories and stationary – all their products looked rich and luxurious and just perfect wedding gifts for the discerning eye!
